Any thoughts as to what a 1950 1/2 ton would be worth in original, intact, solid condition but not running with 4 flat tires?
As you know there are many varitables including Rust and completeness. A basic haul-a-way truck in your area probably starts at free and works it's way up to $650. How much do you want to invest in it? If you are looking for resale, how much work and money will it take to fetch $1000, $2000 etc? If it's going to be used for parts, make sure that you calculate your time, storage and getting rid of the skeleton before purchasing. Make sure it has a title or a transferable bill of sale, that's what stops me from buying some parts vehicles....like I need more anyway! Check out ebay and other sources for comparisons and get pictures to share, it's much easier to be accurate with good pictures.
