| | | | Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 197 Member | | Member Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 197 | I did this swap on a '47. You can use a 4 speed from a 1/2 or 3/4 ton but you will need the u-joint cross (tranny side) from the 1/2 ton 4 speed.
