I have one of their springs on my 37,just went in the garage and looked at how I have it installed. The long end with the bend on the end goes against the release handle and the short end goes in the hole on the big lever. I am sorry I cant remember the exact names for the parts, its late and my brain has shut down for the night. I hope you can get a idea on how its installed,dont have a digital camera yet so I cant send pics. Jeff
