2prfxn, does this truck have a stock engine? If it is stock, and the clutch is stock, it is plenty big enough. Unless, you are hauling hugh overloads with it. In that case you need a bigger truck. Also, if the clutch has slipped much at all, it will need to be replaced. Adjustment won't help. When you pull the clutch, don't forget to inspect the trannie too. Make sure the input shaft bearings and splines aren't worn out. That can cause difficult shifts. Like hanging in gear, and hard to get into gear, and clutch slippage. I got in a hurry once changing a clutch and learned that lesson the hard way, on my class 8 truck! $$$ Mike
