The 1954 Truck Data Book (Specfication Catalog for Chevrolet Salesmen) states that the following truck tools were supplied with 3100 trucks: Jack and Handle (6 1/2" lowered; 15 1/8" raised) and a wheel wrendh (no tire changing iron, which was supplied with3600 and larger trucks in 1954).
There is not a Tool Kit listed in the Truck and Commercial Section of the 1954 Chevrolet Accessories Price Schedule, but a Tool Kit (986362) was listed for automobiles. Most likely, it was sold to truck owners, as well.
