When I checked this stuff out in the store, the asphalt smell was pretty rough. Does this stuff degas quickly? How long before the smell dissipates? Or does it remain and reintroduce itself every time the exhaust heats up. I would like to put it in the doors and layer it on the floor and inside firewall.
