There are a few good books on Fuel Injection from Amazon. The Fuel Injection swappers guide is one and another is ??? can't remember, but the author details installs of several different kinds of systems on a variety of cars and trucks. This guy thinks he is God's gift to the automotive world, but if you can get past his pride and arrogance . . . he has some good information.

Big advantage of a properly set-up FI system is that you get good vaporization and no fuel separation with high volume manifolds that otherwise idle like crap with a carby. So you get good low end torque / idle performance and good high end power as well with the same induction system.
