atomarc 'Bolter A Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 Eureka, CA	bill1949, I'm just guessing, but if the valve is 'thermostatic' it must be direction sensitive to water flow. If this is true (my guess), then maybe you have the hoses reversed. Stuart
