For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 25 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 25 | Any easy way to install the head liner retaining rubber in the roof of my 56 Chevy PU? I've washed the soap looking material off the rubber, that may have been a mistake. Is there a material I need to apply to the rubber to allow it to slide into the roof? Maybe talc? I thought of liquid soap but believe it would leave a residue. Thanks in advance. | | |
