Leo - I've never seen that panel on any original TF seat, and it's not shown in the assembly manual seat instruction, but I have seen them on "restored" trucks ... also there was an optional seat, RPO258 "foam rubber seat equipment" that was a 'deluxe' option, and I think that was standard for the cameo [which had most of the deluxe options], and that seat might have had the cover - wouldn't have mattered on the small window cab, but maybe was added because with the big window the seat back is visible from outside
