I just replaced my glove box liner. I installed it from the front pushing it through the glove box opening. Just take your time and try not to scar the box up inserting it. Once the box was in the opening, I just reached underneath and back of the box to hold it in place for the mounting screws. I had to take the heater hose off which gave me a little more room and then just pushed it back on the heater after I installed the box. I had to use a short flat bladed screwdriver to pop the top, bottom, and both sides behind the glove box flanges where the screws are inserted.

The j-hooks are not on replacement boxes. Lucky for me, I had the old box and just pulled them off, straightened the hooks and hammered them on the new box. Chevy Duty (Classic Parts) sell the j-hooks if you don't have them.
