Hey gang, My speedo needle is "bouncing", it does this irregularly, i.e. not all the time and moves 5 to 10 mph either side of the "real" speed, the rest of the time it reads nice and steady. I've pulled the cable and lubed it with white lithium grease, but doesn't seem to make any difference. Is the gauge at fault ? Do I need a new cable and housing? or is it the gear in the tranny.
