I'm in the process of trying to install and early 70's chevy van column in my 57. I have converted to power steering using at toyota 4x4 box, which bolted in nicely with some custom brackets...my question is what length column should I be using, and what is the distance from the floor to the top of the column? When I postion steering column (column shift), it appears too high on the dash...
