In the Jim Carter Catalog, they actually refer to the early 49 having the metal band that fits in the inside opening. I may have to get one from Jim Carter. It seemed to be level. I had the slot for the lock on the top. And there isn't anything in the way on my wife's cab. I have it stripped out, ready to go to the media blaster. In my 49, there wasn't anything in the way either. I don't know!! I will keep fooling with it until I get it figured out. I am going to have to get a new box anyway since I have kinda messed it up a bit. If you don't mimd, I would appreciate a picture. Just when you get a chance. Please don't go to any trouble. Thanks!
