I've got some knobs coming from Chevs of the 40's. They assured me that thier knobs are the correct size, and have the metal retainers. Pricey, but worth it, I hope.
Thanks for the info on the speaker. I'm not going to make this a functioning radio yet, just want it for "looks". Probably couldn't hear the radio when driving anyway.
