on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 50 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 50 | I found an inline 6 Chev engine that I was told is a "rebuilt" 235 from 1962 and hasn't been run for 10 yrs. I got it started with fresh gas from a jug and let it idle for about a minute until it stopped smoking, it sounds ok.
The casting numbers under the distributor are 3769716, the numbers stamped into the flat surface to the left of the distributor are F0112A.
I can't find the block number in my Chev & GMC engine number book. Can someone tell me what this engine is?
Thanks | | |
