Panteras, like most Italian cars were known to rust away so Long and Newman made fiberglass replacement bodies.
The idea is you move all the good parts from a rusty car to the replacement body; drive train, glass and other hardware was reused.
I acquired a collection of Pantera parts with the body. I did not get a ZF transaxle and 351C engine, so I chose to use something easier to obtain - a V6 Buick and transaxle.
It's a big project. Rebuilding the Chevy truck was relatively easy!
