I have a set of hard lines for the fuel/vacuum pump. The route from the manifold (don't recall if it was a hard connection or a piece of rubber tubing) in steel, down to the pump, then back up to the manifold area, and then rubber hose into the cab. They follow the same routing as the fuel and dist vacuum lines over the front of the engine between the thermostat housing and valve cover. I think they're 1/4". If you need the actual size, I could go dig them out and measure the OD.
