I have a '53 GMC that has had its 228 swapped for a Chevy 216 at some point and I'd like to fix that. I'm interested in any of the post-war GMC straight 6s: the 228, the 270, or the 302. The bigger the better, but I know that the 270 or 302 will command a price premium over the 228. I'm located in the panhandle of Florida and limited to the deep south.
