Moparguy, at this point where ever you can get a hotel might have to do this time. You may try a Hampton inn at 400 beach drive. It is new and may not have booked out yet. Another suggestion is look along the I-10 exits which is about 8 miles north of along the coast line(not very far). If you plan to register the best days are thurs, fri, and sat. that way you get your card stamped at the locations and have about 30 chances to win $500. If you just looking around for the first time, any day starting with Monday the cars will come in to the registration located to pick up their packets at the Gulfport harbor.
