It's easy for me to look back now and see that I should have applied the epoxy myself, after proper metal treatment. I guess I'm lucky that it's just one fender that has a problem. Yesterday I removed the fender and took it to a friend who has a body shop. He is going to strip it to bare metal, and start from scratch. Prior to that, he is going to let his PPG rep have a look at it and see what his opinions are. I just didn't want to get back into it myself. I don't mind painting, but one time is enough for me, and I didn't want this to turn into a never ending project.
