The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Making a Stovebolt Bed 1947 Chevy cross sills question

Here are a couple of shots of what I have mocked up.My first cross sill does have the holes to mount the bed front. None have the relief area for the under bed gas tank,which is fine, I won't be using one. I think my only issue is with the cross sill labeled number 2 in the pictures.

The sills are 49 7/8 long.The dimensional lumber is a reference stick, not part of the bed assembly.
