That's the basic procedure. But you probably want to have help assembling things like the front fenders to keep from dinging up a paint job. Also, the hood alignment is critical, as you don't want it to get stuck closed when adjusting the latch (don't ask how I know this.

Once you have the whole thing assembled, the front clip can be removed and reinstalled as a unit to remove the engine. I've done that a couple times now. The only thing needed then is to position the fenders to line up to the hood, which can stay in place and adjustment.
