The 1941-1946 under bed carrier is different from the 1947-1950 carrier....It consists of only the track, sling-strap , 2 rim support tabs mounted to the frame X member & J hook.....
I suppose you could adapt the 1947-1950 carrier assembly to fit an earlier truck though.
