Those inserts will come with a new glovebox liner. I doubt that you could reinstall them on a mushed out liner. Also, the usual vendors have the correct screws for the glovebox (flanged Phillips head type). Sometimes it's better to just buy new fasteners instead of derusting and replating originals, although I've done that.
