Good afternoon fellow Bolters . I have a 1953 Chevy 1/2 ton 3100 Panel Truck and im wondering where the best place to go to buy a Complete new Wiring harness for it. I will be running a 6 cyl. 235 engine from a 1954 Chevy Panel truck. I would like to convert to 12 Volt system using my original Starter and Generator ,im assuming they are both 6 volt, will be adding turn signals front and rear. possibly adding another taillight on the right side rear barn door, will add a radio and CB Radio ,will also add a few lights inside toward the back. Im thinking maybe a Painless Wiring Kit ?? Has anyone here ever converted to 12 volt and adding the stuff id like to add ? Im thinking they have ,but it would be nice to hear from someone whos acually done this to their Panel truck.
