I have a steering box out of a 1941 1/2 ton, model AK that I have two questions on. 1: What is a good lubricant to use? 2: After bead blasting, I noticed a small hole (approximately .100”) about an inch in front of the fill plug. Should it be there? I can’t think of a reason for it, I don’t see a crack and it’s not a vent. Thanks, Ken
