The updraft carb I have has a cast iron housing. It's mounted on a spray-oiler engine, most likely a 235 from the early 1950s. If you can use it, I'll be glad to remove it and look for more ID numbers. The military carbs are Holley, with a built-in governor, supposedly from WW II or slightly newer GMC engines. Probably 270s. I have three of them, with no real use for them. They were included in a horsetrade to get some 2 barrel intake manifolds for GMC engines.
