My first truck was a '67 C10 with a doner 396 w/powerglide. In my senior year of high school, I bought a new 1974 GMC K15 350/465 off the dealers lot. In early 1976 I ordered a K20 350/465 with the simple options I wanted, drove that truck for 18 1/2 years. The drive trains were bullet proof, the sheet metal not so much! I have had a GM truck from each decade from the 50's to my 2011, most of them were my daily transportation. If I could afford to preserve them all I would have but life didn't allow.
