I had paper gasket material on my air deflectors (not sure what they are called?) on both sides when I cleaned and painted them. I picked up a sheet of gasket material from O'Reilly's and cut four strips about 1.5 inches wide to cover the area touching touching the sides (two on each side). I made holes with a hole punch - one hole was larger and one was just a slice on the edge. Follow the pattern on the deflector panel. When I mounted my fenders, it was a little tricky. See picture.
