Charlie got recapitated today smile had a few set backs, but we got through them. Msinly that when we set the rocker arm assembly back on, the engine locked up. Jerry determined that the new valves have longer stems ... So we got to that point about 1600 and decided to finish on Friday.

Jerry shows up with the rebuilt head -- magnafluxed, resurfaced and new valve guides. Mike came to help lift the head ... We didn't get that far ...

Head back on the block, Jerry starts reinstalling head bolts. We got the head on Tuesday with 4 people -- Ashley, Marty, Jerry and John. Jerry and Ashley had the head suspended from a 2x4 while John and Marty guided it down into place.

After several tries, we were successful in get the rocker arm assembly properly installed.
