| | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | I just cut a rectangular piece of 3/4" plywood 16" x 30" and put four 2.5" swivel casters on it. Don't use soft rubber wheels or you will end up with flat tires and never be able to push it, been there.
For the back I made an adaptor from some 5/8" Tri-Ply that I had laying around. I cut a circle to clear the main bearings boss and bolted it where the bell housing normaly would with the six 7/16" bolts, this then extends down to the base to give the pan about three inches of clearance.
For the front I bolted a piece of 1.5" x 3" angle to the front motor mount with its two bolts and then bolted an extension made of 5/8" Tri-Ply to the angle that extends down to the base so that the engine is level. These two adaptors are then screwed to the base using a couple of lengths of 1"x 1" angle.
