I just came in from the garage and just seeing your post now Carl so that might be my next move is to loosen both fenders at the back
Here is where I am at now. I maxed out on the radiator shims and it helped . Right now all pictures are without the coiled hood props attached. I am still 1/2 inch at the highest point on both sides between hood and fenders
