I've read this report and I understand it fully. However, our 216 engine runs relatively good but upon first start we've had to use starting fluid to get it going. That said we've removed the Rochester B a few times to see what could be causing these starting issues. The two or three times we've split the carburetor apart the bowl is always DRYYYYY. Once I checked the fuel pressure once and it was 2 psi or less. The fuel pump has been rebuilt. We have a new gas tank, and the fuel filter has been replaced twice. Why would the carburetor bowl be DRY?
