I had put in a 3.55 gear set and had a fellow set the gears for me and while I was doing my bed wood I noticed a drip from the bottom pinion bearing retaining screw. At a closer look I noticed the 3 screws were not screwed in evenly. I was able to screw the bolts to even them out and thought that would solve the leak as the bottom bolt was the one that was not in as far as the other two. I am thinking that I can loosen the lock nut and put some thread tape around it and tighten it back up. I was planing to dump the oil and check the gear gear pattern and the rear bearing clearance to be sure nothing got moved. Any one else experienced any thing like this? Thanks, Kevin
