For those that attended this years Roundup, you probably know I was going to have a new hip installed TuesdayI with a new titanium R.R. spike installed. At least that is what it feels like today
Left the house at 4:30 am, 40 min drive to the surgery center. Thay got me right in and started prepping me. After surgery had to wait for the spinal block to wear off. They walked me down the hall and up/down a few stairs, then told me to go home.
Another 40 minute drive and I was sitting in my recliner with a hot red headed wife waiting on me with some more cookies to eat at 12:30 pm.

The surgery went fine and am a very lucky man. For those that may need this done in the future, don’t wait. Ask around for a good surgeon (they will have about a 6 month wait list) and get R done.
