One other thing to keep in mind is if your putting this in your garage, do you want the compressor to be heard in the house running. The two-stage is going to be alot more quiet. I have this problem and it just so happens the master bedroom in my house is right above the garage so you have to remember the wife factor. I went with a two stage and love it.
