I did a few double flares on a Vette I had 3 or 4 years ago. I used a double flare tool I bought at the used tool house around the corner from where I lived. After a half dozen practice flares wink I was able to do some that looked good. One of the problems I had was pressing to hard with the anvil and splitting the flare. I've also read that you don't want a cheap tool (may of been what I had) get a good one.
