Hi Dan, according to the truck plate; the model is CC 1 02, and the serial number is 19467P, the maximum gross weight is 4600 lbs, the horsepower is 76 at 3000 rpm. General Motors Truck and coach division, Pontiac, MI. I see that Jim Carter truck parts lists a Drive shaft extension shaft for GMC only with part number ME470 for 1939 to 1954 GMC long bed 1/2 ton truck. I believe that shaft maybe inside this housing. I didn't take it too far apart as it is pressed into a bearing.Thanks
