I went through several of them before upgrading to a 105A on my 58. The higher current alternators start charging at lower speeds.
Depending on what your electrical load and normal driving habits, that might or might not be an issue for you. I ran into issues with the electric fan running down the battery when stuck in traffic for extended periods. | | |
