If you have a stock intake manifold your carburetor will be happier if you use the stock exhaust manifold (single output). Particularly if you live where summers are generally mild and winters are colder. But even if you live in Dallas (where summers are not mild) you will do better with a stock exhaust manifold and (very important) a working heat flap with a good spring.
