Yes, the port spacing on virtually all the small block V8 heads until the mid-1990s is the same. A little creative pipe bending by a custom muffler shop will be better (and less expensive) than tinkering with the steering gear mounting, and totally botching up the steering geometry in the process. If you don't need the generator mount boss on the driver's side manifold, the passenger's side fits with the outlet in the same location.
