If you want to see how the Caps would look with a "Blue" Bowtie, just add some blue painters' tape to one of the Caps .. Either way great score, those are in fantastic condition.
Great idea. The original blue bowtie ones are currently on the truck. I'll most likely talk them off and go commando for a little while before painting the wheels.
Congrats on your find! They do look very pristine and yes the yellow go well with your trucks current green. Keep them/use them as you see fit and you can always continue the search for originals if that's what you want in the end. Who knows, they might grow on you to the point they become a permanent fixture.
They certainly might. The yellow will also tie into the yellow '71 Alabama license plate I plan putting on the front bumper of the truck. :-)
