One thing that I've learned is that no matter how big the cabinet is, I always need the next size bigger sooner or later. At the museum we have a 48" cabinet. I have blasted some 6' long parts by taping a trash bag over the end door. Biggest problem is wide objects, like wheels.
And to run it we have a 15 hp compressor. You don't want to have to pay the electric bill. 40 amp, 208 volt 3 phase and it runs about 40% of the time with the blast cabinet running 55 psi.
