I have built 2 electric stomp starters for 350 v8s in two AD trucks.
One uses a Ferguson 9N starter switch and some various other parts to make it work.
The other one utilizes a micro switch rather than the tractor switch but will require a relay to energize the V8 starter solenoid.
Both of these are self contained inside of the starter pedal bellows (except for the relay for the one with a micro switch).
Both of these switches give you the feel and the looks of the original mechanical starter.
