Santa brought me a new Lincoln - MIG welder that is.
I found a cheap starting point for a welder cart:
Harbor Freight Hand Truck It is on sale right now but I don't know for how long. I picked mine up at the local retail store and they honored the web site sale price.
I would probably be a little disappointed if I was going to use this as a hand truck, as the construction is ultra-cheesy, but I think it will be fine for moving the welder short distances within the shop. You can't complain about the price, though.
I'm going to modify it after I get my gas tank and have used the welder enough to figure out what accessories I want to add, like hangers for cables and maybe a tool box.
