Dear Stovebolt Community,
We are delighted to present our first "Big Bolt" build journal, featured by Steven "20Mercman" Carlson.
A father and son project that has yielded remarkable results. Centered around a 1956 Chevrolet 6400, equipped with a 261 engine, 4-speed transmission, a two-speed rear and an 8' by 12' flatbed thats a perfect match for the truck.
Over the course of two and a half years, they undertook a painstaking restoration process. Their meticulous attention to detail included a complete cab reconstruction and the application of a stunning two-tone paint scheme, both to the exterior and interior surfaces.
Additionally, all mechanical components were thoroughly addressed and restored to proper working order.
The end result is stunning and stands as a testament to their dedication, skill, and the special bond between father and son. We are proud to share this inspiring restoration story with our community.
