Hello Everyone,
My name is Zink. About 12 years ago, I was on here asking a million questions about my 1951 3600. I'll be honest, I was a young and dumb teenager, and that was easily shown in my manners on the forum. For that, I apologize, and I am ready for a fresh start. Here's my story:
After taking apart the '51, it sat in a hay shed for quite a while. I switched gears and turned my attention to my late grandfather's '76 Scottsdale (not sure if that is too new for all of you, but maybe one day I will do a thread on it somewhere). The '51 got pushed around in the shed, and I realized it would keep getting bumped into as the tractors and hay bales came and went. So I sold it and used the money on the Scottsdale, but the thought of a 5 window never left the back of my mind.
Fast forward to last year and I found myself another 5 window. This one is a 1949 GMC 250 one ton with a 9ft bed. I know that is not everyone's dream truck, but I love the big ol' girl. I just started work on her, so I am excited and eager to learn. It's good to be back.
