Hi everyone. Hope someone can help with my horn button problem.

The hole in the steering wheel only accepts the older style 6 volt connector. That’s the spring looking one in the picture. The one on the right is what is called out for the 12 volt. Only problem is the hole in the steering wheel is too small.

I’m thinking of drilling it out to fit the new one but wanted to get some feedback from anyone who has had experience with it.

As always I appreciate all the help I’ve gotten so far.
