After using various home-made gizmos over the years to work on the slotted adjusting bolts on the older tie-rod and drag link ends,I came across a set of 1/2" sockets made just for this in the Craftsman Tool catalog. The stores don't carry 'em, you have to order through the catalog or online. They're part # 34299 and come in a set of 4 for $20. The 15/16" is just right for the tie-rods and drag links while the 1-3/16" will work nicely on the bearing nut on the steering box.
